X1900xtx Issue.?! Card or something else?

I recently bought a X1900XTX everything seemed fine. But now just recently i See these two blue boxes in the middle of my screen. there are filled and are doted like one dead pixel. the box is around I I <- that big and are 2-3 inches away from each other, I can only see it in gaming. it shows up in World of Warcraft and in Battlefield two and other games i play. Everything is clear and fine while booting up windows, Surfing the web. It only shows while playing games. I reinstalled 6.3 drivers reinstalled DirectX i re seated the card its not over heating. I noticed when i change the Multi sampling in the video settings it goes to a different position and some times changes color. Anyone can think of a problem with it?. It is really pissin me off . It has the stock cooler and is not Overclocked.

Try going into CCC and clicking on the reduced DVI frequency under Digital Panal Properties

Yea i can see them in CCC. around 45-58C. I submitted a ticket on Ati.com They told me make sure you meet the system requirements blah blah blah, I know i do. I don't know if i should format if i did something wrong or its just my card. I went threw 2 Rmas with my 7800Gtx and i gave up on it and sold it once it got returned to me, And now this card is doing the same thing to me. I have the worst luck ever.

Ever thought about the fact that it has nothing to do with bad luck but with something in your computer? For example your PSU could simply be insufficient or simply not stable enough.

Do you have a multimeter at your home? If yes and you know how to use one: open your case, grab an empty molex connector and measure the +5V and +12V line (red+black and yellow+black) while your card is under load (3DMark run). Check if the values stay stable. If not your power supply is not up to the job.

+3.3V@28A, +5V@45A, +12V@26A, -5V@0.8A, -12V@1A, +5VSB@2.5A

I have 2 hard drives.
Amd64 X2 4400
X1900XTX
1 cd rom drive
No floppy
2 fans
Sound blaster Audigy 2

I dont have a Multimeter, I'll take up the offer tho and go to radio shack and check it out.

That +12v looks a little weak to me. Although it would've been fine for the 7800GTX, you really want 30A or more for an XTX.

The PSU is fine.

That sounds like memory overclocking.

Turn down core and mem speed and see if it still does it. If it does not run clean at default speeds, RMA it.

Sounds like some RAM issue,video memory on the video card itself.I had the same problem(very similar)with one of my 6800Ultra cards. When I lowered the speed a lot it was fine,but underclocking is not what we want.

I would call ATI and RMA the card.
