Kinda missing some detail here lol.

Tried 7.7 and 7.1 cats to no avail, grrr

Nevermind, wound up being cause of either force AA or AF, switched to application controled and workin fine now
 
My ATI drivers messed up the game, all I got was artifacting and couldn't see anything, just stabby triangles of grey everywhere.

I driver cleaned, stopped forcing AA/AF, and now the game is much faster.

25 fps average using the .bat file to run the in game benchmark, min 18, max 38, 1680x1050, medium settings across the board, no aa and whatever default af medium uses.

Feels just like playing far cry to me.
 
So I'm using Fraps and I'm getting 10-15fps :eek:

If I set everthing to medium, I can't even see much.. looks like above screenshot! So the only way to play is to set most details to high.. This is at 1680x1050... Getting 14-20 fps at 1280x1024..

The game is a bit choppy but playable on my machine but I'm anxious to see how much better an 8800GT will do.. If it does ok I'm going to spring for it! I would not buy this game and play it full time on the x1900xtx!
