All parts on signeture were bought recently. So I started on this new build and installed everything you see on my signeture, and it was working fine for a few days. I tried fear and other games and it was working. But now over the last 2 days, as soon as I open any 3d, the system simply restarts. Not only that, when it does that, it kinda struggles to restart. All the lights on mobo, fans etc start to fligger. It sounds like tryin to start a 30 year old engine. Does that for like 5 secs then bang its on again. And this is with or without having crossfire on! WTF?????????

On gaurdian the chipset shows 42C-47C. Is that bad?
Anyone had similar symtops? Did I damage something?

Epsilon FX700-GLN 700w.

Its certified by ati for crossfire and i know many people using it. I did restored windows about 3 times. It happened after that. Could restoring windows do this? Like corrupted some drivers or something?

I have that board. It takes like an hour or two to tweak at least. What is kind of lame, is leaving any of the ram timings on Auto is like Russian Roulette for me. There are 3 or 4 it totally fuggers. Some are agressive, others kill the bandwidth. So you get crashes because of the tight ones, and crappy performance anyways, because of the other setting it screwed with even just a few auto's. You optimally will have all 30 bajillion of those fuckers set intelligently.

Have everest open, A64 tweaker, and maybe a link of someone's settings for reference. A64 tweaker even seemed to have stars on a few whacked out settings. I usully do the bench after I set a timing. Everest because it runs fast. My tref made a 1gb/s difference. It was just set that bad before. Then you can get it into the bios.

This thread is good. The first link in it brings you to a thread by OCZ tony. Need that. He tells what is a bit laxer as well, and what kind of range is normal. When I had stability problems if it didn't make much of a quick difference in everst, I would just loosen it up. Maybe tighten later. Next link is eva's results, good reference for what TIGHT is... Using BH5. What i go back to this thread for is the tref table in post 6. A64 tweaker and board list it differently.

I use the guides and change a few things at a time and then go test 3d. Because honestly, no one has time to change one them fucking thing at a time. Then I will set them in bios. The few not in A64 tweaker, you just have to use the bios but the guide will get you there.
