How can I monitor the switch to: 650/1550 ?

No matter when I check the CCC it says 500/594
I want to make sure it's actually switching to 3d mode and then I want check the fan speed and temperture during 3d mode.

I have just gotten ATI tool but I could use some advice on the best way to test this.

Thanks!

Seems if I alt-tab to the OC part of the CCC for about 2 sec I can see the temp and clocks.

download rivatuner, the latest version then somewhere on the 3dguru site it will tell you how to force rivatuner to recognize your video card, as rivatuner as an application does not know about the 1900xt/x line. Rivatuner will consider it the 520 chip, but you will get temp monitering and overclocking/fan control.
if you run rivatuner from the task trey and play a game it will creat a chart as to clockspeeds for ram and GPU, temps and alot of nice to know things about you video card.

Thanks for the tip. I've used Rivatuner for a long time with my Nvidia cards but since I'm new to ATI, I'll have to check it out for the x1900xtx. :)
