i just got an x1900xt for my first comp im building will this run 1280x720 for 2-3years with 4aa and 16af? im talkin dx9
 
2-3 years? maybe with a couple of settings tweaks and a conroe processor it should last a bit of time. 2-3 years is a long time in the computer world. I'd be safe to say that you might get medium settings, 1024x768 at 4xAA 8xAF (high quality AF).
 
Well i have a Geforce 5600, I built the pc with the 5600 like 3-4 years ago and i play bf2 at 1152 x 864 on low settings at like 20-25 fps. I don't even think i could try at high settings with 4aa and other crap like that
 
Depends on the games.........

I doubt you will be able to play all the new games with 16AF like you want but you can use that res for just about any game i nthe next 3 years with that card I bet.
