X1900XT or 7900GT

Im going to upgrade soon, and i need a good video card, but im undecided.

Either to get a X1900XT or a 7900GT
Can you guys help on what to get?.

If you save money getting the 7900GT get it. Also if you have a sli mobo then get it and you can get another 7900GT and SLI.

Out of the box the 1900xt smokes the 7900gt. But I'd like to see a comparison of the 2 cards when voltmodded, overclocked, and retrofitted with a quality 3rd party hsf (since there is more gain on the 7900gt with these tweaks).

Budget is very tight right now, i cant afford a second card.

Since the reduction in prices. The X1900XT 256MB and 512MB are better buys than the 7900GT and 7900GTX.
