so...i can find the saphire x1900xt for $500 but the HIS x1900xt is $550...any differences? is the saphire OK?

I don't think there are any differences other than the clock speed or the cooler. For $500 I would say get the sapphire, the extra $50 dollars imo isn't worth it, unless HIS has a better warranty which I do not know about. Otherwise sapphire is a very good choice.

Yep those $50 could go into a good aftermarket cooler, vf900 maybe ? :p

yeah i want that awesome arctic cooling Accelero X2...but no one is selling it. bummer...

Looking at the product pages for both cards they both seem to be ATI manufactured reference cards (like with many x1800's), exact same card apart from the sticker on the cooler and whatever software they throw in.

Sapphires are usually cheaper than BBA's but they're exactly the same.

Anyone that has experience (good/bad) with Gecube cards ?... They make the cheapest X1900 here in Sweden (aprox 10% cheaper than the next one, on a XTX card)

I wondered the same thing...looking at the Powercolor X1900XT. Looks like the same stock ATI heat sink/fan. Anyone having bad experiences with Powercolor pls let me know.
