X1900XT artifacting

Yeah ,I realise it aint gonna be a quick thing . Might have to root out some of my old bits and knock together something that I can at least surf the net on in the meantime.

Looks like the consoles will be getting a hammering ;)
 
So the artifcating started right around the 7.2 cats for almost everyone here?? That's some fucked up shit. The strange thing is my temps are as low as ever and yet the card artifacts. Maybe the drivers screwed up the temp sensor?:confused:
 
After reading this thread I slapped a vf-900 onto my EAX1900 CF card. I'd recommend this to anyone as it is dead silent (especially when compared to stock X1900XT cooler), easy to install, prone to such driver related malfunction, and outperformed the stock cooler by 20 degrees in my case.

Mine started with 7.3... I getting artifacting in games and especially HD-DVD and Blu-Ray movies.. 7.4 is not a bad.. I have a hard time believing we all suddenly have memory corruption issues.. Something else is very wrong here.. I will go back to 7.2 to see if issue still exists.. ;)
