x1800/x1900 core difference?

Would I see a performance difference between an x1800 and an x1900 with equivalent clocks? I have someone that wants to sell me an x1800 (unfortunately only 256) which clocks at 700/760 core (*air/water) and 730 memory for only about 165 and I am not sure if I shouldnt just hold out and get an x1900.
 
That's a decent price...

1900 series have more pixel shaders. It should perform similar to 1950pro's not 1900xt...
