Anyone have one of these yet? I'm curious as to why the AGP version runs at 600/800 and the PCI-E version runs at 600/1400? I'm looking to get my Dad a nice little upgrade and the X1650 Pro is in the right price range but if it's that slow I may look around some more. Also, if anyone has one, do the AGP version overclock well?

Thanks in advance.

I do know that the x1600pro agp will o/c ok with the right cooling solution, so I would have to assume the same for the x1650pro.

Just my two cents.

Hold out for the X1950 AGP which I hear will be out in October. :)

Pretty sure, I know that Diamond is definately putting one out and I'm hearing rumours of a couple other board partners at least investigating the possibility.

I'm hearing an estimated street price of $199 but don't quote me on that.

Why would you pay $200 for a 1650pro instead of $140 for an X850pro?

:S X1950XT for $200? Doesn't sound right.

thats what i am thinking. i am guessing $300 for one since it will have lower clocks and only 256megs of ram.

i think there was another thread here that debunked the diamond x1950 agp rumour as false.

it was another one of their 'miscommunications' which they corrected.

edit: here's the thread here
