I havent heard about it till I went to http://www.soundblaster.com for no apparent reason. Seems their releasing a new card guess I'll hold off a audigy purchase. Probably old news but if I hadnt heard likely others havent.

It was burried on page 5, most seem to be pretty meh about it (being creative and all).

Seems the high end audio guys arent impressed, im too tone deaf to tell a difference though. I personally like the eax effects and it seems you must have the latest version as most games dont support anything less. Although I felt a little buyers remorse with my old sblive value purchase I think I'll pick up an ebay oem some time in the distant future.
