Is there any way I can buy one of the x-fi sound cards (fatality or elite), but just the card. don't need the front bay or the huge external break-out box. trying to save some money.
 
Buy the Fatality and then sell the break out box. I think the break out box is an led so you could probably get the 64meg card for the price of one platinum.
