X-FI versa Audigy 2, difference worth it?

I'm going to pick up a new sound card this week, using soundmax onboard sound with my Intel board. I was just going to go with the Audigy 2 oem because it seems like a good card for the price. It's $75cnd and the new X-FI is 144 $here so I'm curious as to the difference between the two. I mainly use my comp for games, so I was hoping by getting a dedicated sound card it would take the tiny load back off teh cpu and give me better sound in games. Thanks in advance for the replies. I've had both, and I can tell you the x-fi drivers are far superior to the Audigy's bloated crap.
 
Well I replaced my A2 with an X-fi and have absolutly no regrets. I do think the sound in general is better than my old card.

The X-Fi is worth every penny more.

erum, you can use the same tiny Audio Control app on Audigy 2 as well BTW. No need for Bloatware at all.
