Other than the front panel, is there any difference? I think it is only the Fatal1ty version with the X-ram isn't it?

yes their identical other than the bay and they have 2 megs of memory. The Fatal1ty & Elite have the additional 64 megs of memory. The thing to consider is if your anticipating maybe needing the additional in/outs the bay would provide as the basic card is very limited in that area. I got an email from CL the other day and apparently, if you want the bay later on they are pricing it at $78-79 USD, so best bet would be to look at the price of both and go from there. Also definitly dont get a Dell or other System Makers OEM version if you can avoid it. Seems Dell and others are selling an OEM that doesnt have the Dolby/DTS decoding tab and possibly other features.

Thanks for the reply. I did not know you could buy the panel separately. Good to know.

Dell has altered Creative drivers in past computer's I've owned... so that doesn't surprise me.
