X-Fi Fatal1ty Driver Issue

I just upgraded from SupremeFx II (Asus Maximus Formula) to this new sound card but it's not working. Vista recognized it but the driver is not loading?

This is what I did;
1. uninstalled SupremeFx II driver
2. disable on board bios setting
3. installed the latest driver from creative

**check the device's properties, it indicates "Code 10", driver issue**

Trying to find a solution for this but no luck, Creative's forum is such ***. Someone posted the same problem as my but no answer.

Any suggestions or solutions?

Uninstall the driver and run Driver Cleaner Pro. Then try installing the drivers from the installation disc.

I've solved the problem.
you can not use the PCI slot right beside the graphics card, it will cause IRQ conflicts by the video card.

Make sure to use the cd it came w versus the online driver. Automatic updates and a much better console IMO.

Old issue. Dates back to AGP and the Intel 430TX AGPset. For this reason I tend to leave a free slot between my graphics card and the next card.
