got infected Wednesday. Malware bytes took care of most of it. But all my browsers are hijacked and i can't seem to shake it.

tried:
-IE factory reset
-hikackthis doesn't see it
-default browser search, home page, etc settings in REGEDIT look normal
-installed chrome, it takes on the hijacked home page
-DNS settings are DHCP (not static to a bad DNS server)
-hosts file is clean
-regedit search for www-searching.com brings up no keys
-all installed software looks clean in add-remove-programs
-msconfig startup tab looks clean

i'm doing a built in windows system restore to 2 days prior to the infection but am skeptical.

any one out there have any success with this P.O.S.?
