Well I still love you.
:)

I don't think anyone actually gets angry over this stuff.... maybe the replies seem that way....
We all have our words and come back together when all is said and done. More like afamily than a team.
*hugs for ZROUT*
(spit... cough... NO TONGUE DOOD!!!! )

Well, I haven't posted for awhile and I come back to see this. I'm glad to see that things haven't changed around here. :p :D

I edited myself...

if I wasn't a stats whore and there was a way to switch teams and carry your points over I would have done it already, this place is ridiculous.

Not sure what to tell you on this subject. Since Folding began the [H] has had about 8500 people total fold for us. Some stayed for one work unit, some are still here.

Currently we have about 1750 (round numbers) folding for the [H] and in all this time the one thing I have figured out is that there is no way to make everyone happy all the time. I can’t do it, Kyle can’t do it and King can’t do it. The project itself can’t keep everyone happy either. I’d hate the see the hate mail VJ gets and it’s his project.

As I look at the “majority” of comments over the years the site seems suitable for almost everyone. There are out of 1750 people very few dissenters so it seems there must be something good about this site that people like.

I could be we have the most accurate stats around or it could be any number of things, but it works well, Kyle approves and in the end no human can please everyone, ever.

Either way, things are what they are and I see no reason to ruin the experience for everyone else just because you are unhappy

Whatever your reason for folding and whom you fold for, do it for your own reasons. Follow your heart and do what’s right for you.

I really dont mean to keep beating a dead horse. And you know I have respect for you Bill, but to go along with your earlier post.. there is no "i" in team, and there will never be just one person who makes everyone else on the team happy all the time..

all ZROUT was doing was pointing out a couple things that we have all talked about at some point in time, things that some of us know can / should / will not be changed, and other things that might help somewhat.

Thankfully with our country we get freedom of speech :) And you are right. no one person on any one team will be 100% happy 100% of the time. but we have a bunch of really great people here... so lets all give moose a hug and be happy :)

For [H]umanity... and for the [H]orde.

Don't forget that some of those users are due to people misspelling a name and creating extra users. I'm not sure of the percentage, but I've seen a lot of names with one letter off creating a new UID for 1 or 2 WUs.

As far as hardfolding goes, it does it's job well. I just wish my name would show up under the TX section, as I originally submitted it several years ago, and then regged my name(again) several months ago. It's nothing that I would loose sleep over though.

I'm gonna keep this simple and short...

From this point forward, "constructive" critism can be sent to King via email or PM. I for one am getting tired if the "Let's beat the King for all of the selfless, free, decent work he does for this team and expect him to swallow it" mentallity that I find here lately. There is nothing wrong with presenting ideas, but the manner in which they have been presented quite frankly, BLOWS!

To quote: "they look like they belong on a geocities site from 1995" "to me it looks fugly"

Does this sound like constructive critism?? Not really.

You can hide behind trying to help and trying to exercise your right to free speech all you want, but the plain and simple fact of the matter is that, you have no right to crap on King for his efforts. The site was here long before most of us and it (hopefully) will be long after you all get bored and move on.

So, new ground rules.

Any more posts telling King how much the site sucks will be deleted immediately. No questions asked. And user notes will be added.

Oh and lest you think I wasn't paying attention....any problems with my job as Mod here can be discussed with me via PM, not on the board. :)

Thanks,

Moose
