WVA Panel?

After browsing the internet i found a Monitor that uses a WVA Panel i never heard about this type of Panel, anyone that has some ifnos or experience with this type Panel?

Wide Viewing Angle is a plausible explanation for the use of this abbreviation. I googled and it has come up before: http://www.askdavetaylor.com/what_do_xga_sxga_wva_and_wide_angle_mean.html Comments on the article are from 2005, so it's not new to see references to WVA

This would be really stupid than you could call every VA and IPS Panel WVA.

I have the feeling that this monitor has a M270HW02 V1 (MVA) Panel and Samsung tries to mislead people.

Why is the contrast ratio so much worse than other Samsung VA monitors? My 2333T has terrible ghosting with useless overdrive and other problems, but at least the contrast ratio is well over 3,000:1. I would have expected these to perform like the 650 series, and those also (according to PRAD) can easily surpass 3,000:1.
