I basically want to trade my BFG 7600GT + cash for your 8800GTS/GTX from 1 of the three big lifetime warranty companies.

Yeah, I would far rather deal with the 3 year warranty from Asus, MSI or GigaByte since they don't need a receipt. They just go by the serial number As long as it falls within their warranty period, you have full manufacturer's no hassle warranty! And besides, I've never kept a card longer than a few months anyway!
