Holy jeezuz, I just completed a WU this morning and when I got this sucker in I said literally outloud "What the f%@#...?". Do alot of these float around, or has anyone seen a WU this large before? I assume it will be worth 2500 points? Gawd, this is going to take like a whole week to complete.

That is a 155 point Gromac, it has alot of frames, but does not take as long as you are being shown, Let it run awhile and the info will change on your display to more realistic numbers,

you can always check the points of a work unit by going to F@H and click on stats, the stats page has a link called project summary, click on that and it will take you to the info on the work units.

No it wont.
The monitoring program is mixing up steps and frames.
p874 is worth 155 point and has 100 frames.
Just give it a couple of true frames ( 25 steps ) to get itself sorted out.

Luck....... :D

Hm, the frames started completing really fast now, 25 have gone by. It is still saying 25/2500 though.

Wooooh! Thank you lol, I really didn't wanna wait 4 days for a WU to complete.

Ha! You should borg some of the crap I have....4 days...is nothing. >50days on a timeless Tinker......people and their turning off their boxen

Yeah, number of frames isn't necessarily anything interesting. I'm working on a 2000-frame WU right now, but it's going at about 1 minute per frame, so it's all good.

Your complaining about 4 days? hehe.

I check to make sure my boxen or working, otherwise, I just let them work without paying attention to what their folding.

edit:
got one too... dont worry about it bro. it will be okay.

This WU is still 55/2500...?
Help anyone?

You should try running a dual PII 266 system. It's working on a 28 and a 30 pointer. Both are timeless and will take 4 days to complete. I average around 100 points per week with this machine.

It also takes about a week for my 1 Ghz Duron to turn out a 600 pointer. Actually, that's not that bad for the machine. It's main saving grace is that it's a Morgan core and has the SSE instructions.

Those 25000 step WUs seem like they pick up a head of steam during the last half of the WU -

Show it whos boss - Crunch that F***ing protein!!!!

:p
