Hi guys!

I know I have just about no chance of this happening but I thought I'd ask anyway :D.
I'm looking to upgrade one of my 2P xeon machines and I want to replace the CPU's with either E5-2695's v2 or possibly e5-2697's v2. (open to some other model suggestions though!)

So I don't suppose anyone has some that they want to offload already or perhaps they want to upgrade their 2595's to a 2597. Also open to suggestions if anyone has somewhere to purchase them a bit cheaper than ebay currently. I'm seeing about $12-1300 per chip for extra spicy at the moment.

And of course I will pay shipping to Aus :).

Thanks guys!

Also open to offers of things like E5-2687W/2690's v1 or even a 4P setup :). Basically just looking to replace my pair of E5-2665's with something that offers a better PPW ratio :).

Awesome, thanks for that! Found a couple of e5-2680v2's for Just over $700US each. Much much cheaper than fleabay even considering the extra shipping and fees. Will probably put in an order soon.

I found some E5-2695v2's on there with the 12 cores instead of 10. But they seem to be early ES and only run at 2.3ghz stock, where as the e5-2680v2 they have on there is running at 2.8 (same as retail).

12x 2300 = 27600mhz
10x 2800 = 28000mhz

I know it doesn't quite work out that way with PPD but the e5-2680 seller looks much more reliable (more screenshots and benchies etc) and they're ~$80usd cheaper per chip.

Hey everyone! Wanting to bump this up. I sold all my old xeons on here a while ago. I recently came into possession of a dual socket 2011 server though and I'm looking to get back into it a little bit. So I'm after some more xeons now haha. A pair of V1 or v2, at least 6 core models please :). Thanks everyone!
