I have the old school Xbox with the Thomson drive. It died, as apparently all Thomson's do. The warranty is also long gone and I have been into the case already and broken the seals. I would like to buy another drive. The Samsung is obviously the preferred drive of the Thomson, Philips and Samsung trio of possible drives.
