Basically title, but backstory if you give a damn, I like tinkering with platforms, (FX, x58, z87, etc) and I want to move on to x79, so I've been on the search, but I want to check here. Very open for x79, I want at least a board to start with, because I have plenty of spare ddr3, and I don't mind looking for a cpu. I have PayPal, but would definitely be very interested in trades, I have a decent bit of haswell and FX stuff, some CPUs, along with miscellaneous PC stuff, pm me, and I'd be willing to go through it all with you!
 
I bought an X79 frankenstein Chinese motherboard off of AliExpress that worked great several years ago and used it as my FreeNAS server
 
Sorry, didn't get back to you on a DM, I've got lots of X79 motherboards and CPU's. I might still have an X58 or two. Still busy after the holidays getting things cleaned and sorted, but I can start to catalog what I have.
 
Just saw this. I've got an Asus P9X79 deluxe with a Xeon E5-2687Wv2 and 8x8GB Crucial Ballistix DDR3-1600 on it. It hasn't been powered up in a while, so I'll have to boot it up and make sure it still works.
