WTB: USW Flex XG Switch

They really need an XG 8 Non-POE to replace the Flex. I'm still using mine as an office switch but would replace it in heartbeat if they had a more modern version without the single power provided by PoE+ 1 GbE port.

Yeah, that would be good too.

Honestly, if the damn 10Gb uplink ports on my Flex 2.5G-8 weren't combined, I wouldn't need this switch.

I have a 10Gb ethernet line out to my living room through my attic, and it goes to the Flex 2.5G-8, providing ports for all the things. But, I have yearly LANs and just one more 10GB uplink port would be great to have for it. But, nope. This switch has this dumb, combined ports.. I got to get one of these Flex XG switches to just get one more 10Gb port. lol.

I've seen the Enterprise 8 PoE (Vintage) come up for sale more often now as well as people are moving to the XG 8 PoE. If you only need 2 10GbE ports and can use SFP+ DAC for the uplink, that may be another option. I probably wouldn't put two 10GbE transceivers in it though if you need both to use ethernet as it runs pretty hot.
