As title states, I am looking for an unlocked 6950 of the 2 GB variety. Preferred brands are MSI, Gigabyte, ASUS, eVGA, XFX, or Sapphire, but I will consider others. I'd like to get this for as close to $150 as possible, as I recently saw one go for that price locally on craigslist. PM me with offers.

o wow, 150 is a good price for a shader unlocked 6950 0.0 You might be able to find one for around 200 if you really search as people are unloading a lot of them now that the 7970 and 7950 cards are starting to come out.

free bump -- while I'd love one for 150 -- you might need to wait another few months for it to hit that price. I was lucky and just snagged a 6950 2GB unlocked to 6970 for 190. And that was a steal at that price.

6970s are going for 300 minimum brand new - the only way i see things getting to 150 is in 6 months or if someone needs to pay rent money right that very minute and is super desperate.

Good luck -- just keep searching the forums every few hours, I jumped on the 6950 unlocked for 190 the instant i saw it.

edit - craigslist pricing isn't something you can really go by either, not only are markets slightly different all over the world, odds are the guy selling the 6950 on craigslist 1) didn't know what he really had or 2) got it by less than legal means.

i been searching one for months. And i finally found one for $195, That`s the lowest i saw that. And it is not even guaranteed unlocked. If you lucky you can find one$190-200 2gb version, but unknow unlockablity.
