I just bought an old Shuttle SV-24 that didn't come with the hard drive mount, low-profile HSF, or PCI right-angle adapter. I'm interested in buying any of these.

I have a p3 800mhz 133mhz fsb socket 370 chip... $35 shipped with HSF (you won't be OCing much with this hsf though...)
 
If you need the mobo/power supply re-capped, let me know (they all go eventually). I've done about 15 of them and I have all the caps that would be needed to do several more.

Also, you don't necessarily need a low profile HSF. A stock intel one will work fine. However, if you want to use a normal sized PCI video card with the right angle riser, the HSF may get in the way.

Also, I've got a PIII733 I'll sell for $25 shipped. Or a 600 celerons that I'll sell for $15 shipped.

Just make sure you don't get a tualatin cored PIII or you'll blow in in the SV24.

Recapped? As in, the capacitors blow?

Yikes...thanks for the info. I don't think I'll be needing a PCI card. The processor I'm getting from nylint is a P3 Coppermine, should I assume that will work?
 
Yep. The SV24 has a VT8604 in it, which works with Celerons and PIII's - non-Tualatin. Coppermine works fine.
 
Yeah, on the SV24 (off the top of my head) there are 7x 1000uF 6.3V, 2x 2700uF 6.3V, and 3x 3900uF 10V caps that blow on the motherboard. Then, there are 2-3 others that tend to go in the power supply. If you notice any instability, it's probably the caps. Eventually, the system will not POST.

/edit: one more thing to know about the SV24s is that the newer BIOSes will not allow you to OC. I forget which revision still had OC capability, but I know it is still on the shuttle web site.
