CPU: Not too picky on the speed, but I'd really prefer to have a 2MB cache. Just show me what you've got.

RAM: For my laptop. Looking for 1gig. Preferrably 2x512. Please give name of brand, etc.
 
do you want a P4-Mobile, or a centrino. I think the centrino actually has 478 pins but intel had it go by socket 479 because it did not fit into a 478 socket without an adapter.

I'm guessing it is mobile. It's for my laptop...Everything I've seen on ebay and such is 478. I go on Dell's website to see what they have for CPU's for my laptop, and I copy/paste the description on ebay.

I think whatever the Dothan series is?
 
I've got a Pentium M 730 (1.6Ghz, 533fsb, 2mb cache) that I am upgrading the end of this week. I'd sell it for $27 shipped. And as for the sodimms, you need ddr or ddr2 (200-pin)? pc3200 is ddr, ddr2 starts at pc4200. I've got 3x 1GB kits of pc4200 and pc5300 sodimms to sell.
 
I've got pc3200 in my laptop now. Underneath it says ddr2 only. I found RAM already. I'll get back to you on the CPU.

ok, now I think about it, I think I remember having a couple sticks of PC2-3200 in 1 of my laptops. Anyways I have some ddr2-533 (pc4200) memory kits as well as that cpu I could sell you.
