It would be fine, quite a bit higher than I had planned for. The 920 is like $10-$15 on eBay.

Does your board support Xeons? I probably have some 1366 quad cores lying around that are quicker than the i7s

your board probably supports xeons. most lga 1366 boards do. I believe I have a i7 960 and a handful of xeons. pm if intrested.
edit: Cant find my bag of xeons but I did locate the i7 960. asking $17 f&f shipped. I can also get you some cheap 4gb sticks of ddr3 if you want to fill up some of those 6 dimms you have
