I accidentally dropped metal on an ASRock P55 Deluxe when the computer on my work bench was in operation. The board will only spin up the fans and shut off, spin up the fans and shut off, endlessly. I've tested the RAM, the video card, the hard drive, and even swapped out the BIOS chip from an identical working motherboard. No dice. I guess the metal landed on just the right (wrong) motherboard traces or components.

Let me know if you have a Socket 1156 board sitting in your parts bin. This will be for test system I keep on the work bench. I'm looking for 1156 so that I won't have to get a new CPU.
