Bought thanks!

Budget is 65, not looking for the best but something compatible with windows 10/11. No throttle night work too, but throttle preferred.

Hopefully no drift in the sticks but that's a high hope. Let me know what you have, heat is qbert3

Good luck getting something worth having at that budget. I played the cheap flight stick game for awhile and it only irritated me. The worn out plastic parts drifting axes and generally crap experience just wasn't fun. The expense of buying 3 cheap POS ones I should have just ponied that sum and got a good one. I do a lot of flight simming though so YMMV.

Agreed, this type of peripheral is as important as your GPU to the experience

Ditto on learners and Randall's suggestion, better off in the long term if you'll be using them a lot. With patience you might be able to get an X52 or Pro for around your price or maybe a little more on eBay. No experience myself but I've heard that the VKB NXT is good for the price.

I'd avoid Thrustmaster; I have the Warthog throttle, it gets creaky in longer sessions and it's not worth the cost. A friend with one of their cheaper HOTAS repeatedly has to open and clean the pots. Virpil has single unit sticks for $230 which might be the best compromise but is obviously well out of budget here.

I use VKB NXT evo with 45 degree stick (prevents shoulder pain from torn rotator cuff) and it's fully programmable (axis curves) and uses contactless axis sensors to eliminate potentiometer drift from mechanical wear. You can also change the centering springs(tension) as well as setting return damping. Well worth the expense.

I am not saying he is wrong, but I do have an alternative reason for buying budget. Buy budget if you are not sure you are going to use it that much. Sell if it is not for you, sell when you want to upgrade.
I bought one (knowing I wanted one but would never stick with i (pun intended)). I then let my family borrow it (to get it out of their system too. That being said I am assuming a budget one will not have feedback, something I thought was interesting in the steering wheel that is also in storage. I am breaking them out of storage to try with VR.

The immersion of VR in racing and flying sims is the most addicted I've been to anything since I stopped being a functional alcoholic years ago. One vice for another I guess but my liver is grateful at least.

I have a Logitech X3D I could give you for cost of shipping. Z-twist is a bit loose to the left and the throttle tab doesn't offer much resistance, everything else seemed fine. Not an ideal stick for sims but it ought to be good enough for arcade style or older games like Wing Commander 3. Also have a Wingman Attack 2, cable might be a little iffy on that one.
