I can trade a European Key for NA Key too. I purchased one and turned out to be for EU.

Fellow FFXIV player here - have you tried getting in contact with support to plead your case? I vaguely remember other instances of this happening, not sure of the success however. I'd also make a question thread on the /r/FFXIV subreddit and see if you have any recourse with that key.

Or you could just sell it outright, I suppose. Good luck! Heavensward is amazing.

Another FFXIV player here. Good luck with support, it's a joke. I accidentally registered my heavensward code to a second service account. It took nearly a month of calling, chatting and emails to get it fixed.
