Doesn’t matter what it looks like as long as it works.

Games and controllers are a plus

At $80 for a console with no cables or controller, it better be HDMI or RGB modded. Says plays on HDTV, but does not say what connection

I might sell you mine. I'll get a list of what all I have, games and such. Fair warning, breaking it out might give me too much nostalgia to sell it though lol not sure yet.

Without modification the best connection you can get is S-Video.

I know but not on a modern TV. Composite however is still on many new TV's so it would technically 'work' on HDTV's but it does not look very good. I have one of the good SNES clones with composite out hooked up to a cheap 1080P TV and it's 'usable' at best. My original model with it's RF converter looked better

A dedicated $10-30 CRT is the best solution
