I need to get a macbook pro before Sunday. I suppose I could go to the apple store, but I figure I'd try this out first. Apple care is a big plus. Leopard a plus. Looking to spend at least $1400, will go higher for the right machine.

I think alot of people are getting them brand new because they are just clearing stock of the last gen models.
