WTB: Looking for a really cheap M.2. SSD to test something out with.

I am finding mixed reviews on if my motherboard will boot to a M.2. SSD. I am looking for something really cheap to see if it will or not before I spend the big bucks.

Motherboard is a Asus 970 PRO GAMING/AURA, specs say it has a:
1 x M.2 Socket 3, , with M Key, type 2242/2260/2280 storage devices support (PCIE 2.0 x4)

Another page says it has a:
M.2 Socket 3(NVMe) PCIe x4 mode (Gen 2.0)

So I assume I need a NVMe drive.
