WTB: Logitech Z5500 Subwoofer unit only.

I have everything else but the subwoofer unit broke so I just need a replacement for it. It needs to be the newer version of the sub to work with my pod. I live in Anaheim, CA 92804 if we could trade locally.

Have you tried contacting Logitech? Their support is quite good. Even if you are out of warranty they probably have some type of hook up for you.

I sold my Z-5500 setup six or seven years ago in favor of a more standard AVR, bookshelves, and a Polk PSW10... but sometimes I still miss it. I maintain that it was one of the best purpose made speaker systems ever made for computers, especially if you wanted bass that would shake your windows. Of course we all know the Klipsch Promedias were better (the first version, before they cheapened the hell out of them), but the Logitech's were right up there.

Logitech has made nothing nearly as good since the Z5500s were discontinued many many years ago. The closest would be the Z906, but they're cheap and not nearly as attractive.
