Hi Everyone -

I'm looking for a laptop/notebook with a decent amount of specs for the price I'm asking (~300-400 shipped to 10013). It might be a long shot, but I figured I'd throw it out there. I'll be using it mostly for coding/web work so I'd like to run Windows XP on it rather well. Hopefully someone has an old clunker notebook that needs a new home.

  • >= 1GHz AMD or Intel
  • capable of 1-2GB RAM; if you have a 256/512 it's fine
  • >= 20GB HD
  • DVD and/or CDRW/DVDRW
  • 15" LCD (no dead pixels)
  • decent video - at least ATI 9600/9800 and above or nVidia equivalent
  • no broken/missing keys on keyboard
  • accessories - battery (does not hold charge is ok), AC Adapter, Restore CDs, etc.
