I'm looking for a Kindle DX because of its large e-ink screen. If there's any bezel choice I'd pick graphite.

Salvage Laptop
I'm interested in an Intel quadcore system in poor condition of any brand, as long as it "works" with an external monitor, keyboard, and mouse.
i5 or i7 quadcore cpu (eg: i7-720QM, i7-2630QM)
- Working motherboard with cooling systems present (no liquid or fire damage)
- No screen needed (broken & dead pixels fine)
- No hdd needed (applicable mounting hardware would be nice to have)
- No ram needed (but will POST with your test ram in it)
- No battery needed
- No power adapter needed
- No keyboard needed
