Friend is going to Paris to study aboard and is looking for an iPhone 3GS or iPhone 4.

Both needs to be iOS4 and not iOS5.

Downgrading iOS5 back to iOS4 is not wanted sorry.

Nor the "ipad baseband" on the iphone 3GS.

I have a black 3GS that I don't need - what are you looking to spend? It's an IOS 4 device, never upgraded to 5, no ipad baseband.
 
I am not sure if my phone is useful for you or not DTN, but here it is. It works well, never had a problem with it. Very good shape except the little cracked area on the charging port, which doesnt effect functionality. I just never use this thing, its been sitting collecting dust for years.
