I'm looking for some odd stuff.
First, I'm hoping to get a camcorder eyepiece modified for use with a VGA or other common video input, or a head-mounted display (even better). Cheap is definitely good for this; I can use anything from an old SNES "VR headset" to a surplus F-15 helmet.
Secondly, I'd like to get either a projector panel for used with an overhead projector, or a LCD monitor without a working backlight (to save money). I'm hoping to build a DIY projector, and I need an LCD; a LCD already intended for use in this manner would be sweet.
Finally, I can also use a large, shiny toaster, remote control gear of any type, and one of those thingamajigs that lets you run a xenon bulb off of 12 volts. (Don't worry; I'm not using it in a car. HID bulbs are a horrible invention, if you ask me.)
