WTB: GTX 260-285

looking for any of these cards in the 50 dollar range, any brand any core doesnt matter. looking to help a friend out with a cheap upgrade to his computer.

$50? Good luck with your hunt.

I haven't seen one go for less than $85 so if you find one then consider yourself to have snagged a bargain...or a busted video card. I'd be real careful with an offer of a GTX 285 for $50.

I'd think you would be lucky to find a GTS 250 for that.

260 to 285, i've seen 285s sell as low as 60 shipped, might have a better chance getting a 260 for 50 bucks

I have seen lot of people sold GTX 275/280 a couple months ago for $55-$60 shipped, so it is possible. Good luck in finding good and cheap one.
P/s you might look into Tomshardware classified.

If you've seen them (GTX 285s) that low, then I guess I'm shopping at all the wrong places.

Best of luck to you.

I have a BFG GTX 260 216 SP that I use for phsyx... I can let it go for $50. Obviously there will be no warranty since BFG went out of business quite some time ago.
