• Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.

WTB: For Honor PC Key

I have a For Honor/Ghost Recon Nvidia key. $35
I want it, but after reading another post I'm worried about not being able to activate it without a 1070 or 1080...

The redemption is VERY different than usual. Redeeming requires Geforce experience, a Uplay account, as well as a GTX 1070 or 1080 in your system (Geforce experience scans your HWID). Now there is a possible work around if you don't have a 1070 or 1080 by renaming you HWID. If you want to take a chance and risk it, you can try...But codes are non refundable.

The best idea I've heard was to do a TeamViewer session, and log in to UPLAY on the sellers pc, activate the game on your account, with his hardware, then log out of everything. Or just pay 48 on greenmangaming like I did.

Does anyone know if the hardware ID trick works to make your system think you have a 1070 or 1080? Or have any details on how to do it?
