WTB: Cheapie PCI-E HTPC video card

Hi guys,
Before I pull the trigger on the evga 8600gt on newegg for $50, wanted to see if there's anything out there. Heck, even a 7300gs would work... just pm me with a price with shipping to zip code 92122. Thanks.

List of cards that would interest me:
ATI or 2xxx
HD3450
84-8600gt cards
Heck, even a 7300gs would work!
HDMI would be nice
 
I was gonna say....you really DONT want a 7300gs for an HTPC simply because it even pales in comparison to the 6600GT for driving high res video.

I had one in, and was amazed at the difference between the two using the same driver set/codecs.

not only that, the previous response was on target, any of the 8XXX series can handle video better than the 7 series with less cpu overhead, especially on H.264 files.

and to tell you the truth, the 8600 for 50 is worth every penny if you tend to even do any light gaming on your big screen....( I'm totally hooked on Trackmania Nations Forever now in 720p goodness, runs on near everything, and is free )
