Looking for a cheap GPU that can still game. Something above a R9 290 that I currently have.

1070ti maybe? I'd have to check when I get home, but I think it's an Asus one. I know I have an Asus 1080ti as well too. I'll look after work and post up if interested.

I upgraded to an Radeon 5700xt for $150USD shipped... and that was a couple of years ago now. Noticed several on ebay for less than that shipped. Formidable card, even if "old". Around twice as fast at the R9 290.

I am a Linux user. Just an fyi. The 5700xt replaced my old Nvidia Kepler gen Quadro.

Still looking for a GPU.

Received a RX 580 from a Member but it's not working properly and is artifiacting and causing monitor disconnects

What’s your budget?
Yeah, total budget so I can factor shipped cost would be nice.
I have some cards comparable to your RX580 all the way up to a RTX 3060.

Now that I see that $100 budget, let me see if I can help you out. I can probably toss in a 2nd card for free. (Yes, I have too much stuff and like to combine shipping)

I would check your display cable and temperature on that RX580 I sent you. The cooler on that card exhausts to the front unfortunately so it's a challenge to keep it cool in a small case especially if the front case fans are pushing the exhaust back to the heatsink. I stress tested that card for a week on my open bench and had no issue with it.

All the cables are new and tried different cables. What’s even weirder I have a second monitor which uses HDMI 2.1 and it doesn’t even display at all.

Case is Mid tower with 3 intake fans and 4 Exhaust

Picked up a bad cold and forget to check this. PM Me if still in need.
