WTB : Cheap 4670K

Good luck, I'm looking for one too.

An Ebay seller that has over 400 of them has them posted at $179 obo.

I offered $125 and they countered with $165. Kind of silly to me when sellers
do the best offer thing and then don't give much of a discount on the asking price.

Kind of glad they declined though, Intel must have just dropped prices, I see
Microcenter is selling the 6600K for $179 now, so these older CPUs just lost
a lot of resale value.

Let me know if you find a cheap source and they have a few.

Few months back I scored a few for $125-$140 for my friends that had G3258 combo's. They started playing more demanding games and needed a 4 core processor. I'm not sure why I am getting 4670K for $190 offers because like you said, the 6600K can be had for that new at MC and less here on the forums when someone sells one.

Bump on the other hand.

You'd need a new mobo and probably memory for going the 6600k route.

Yep, we know.

Just making the comparison to brand new CPU prices.
The older used CPUs are not very attractive if people want the same price as new CPUs.

Time is on our side though, we can wait them out. :)

ETA: Just to do a direct comparison to 1150 CPUs, Microcenter has the 4690K for $189.99.
So the same asking price for a used 4670K is way high. The sellers will figure that out when
they aren't getting any bites.
