I need a CD ROM drive. I'm not that smart with computers but I know how to take out and replace the current CD Rom Drive. I've done everything imaginable to fix this problem with the CD Rom. But I think it's dead.

I need a new one asap. Something that works with a Dell Dimension. I think CD Rom Drives work with any computer, but I don't want to sound stupid. I don't know much about the internal part of computers.

I hope someone can help me out.
 
I got an old dvd burner. the door sticks a little. or got an older cd-rom. either of those can be yours for free. just pay shipping.
 
I've got many spares, of which I could send you one.

What model Dell? Just to be certain of what you are replacing. :)
