I am looking for a single 512mb stick of working pc2100 sodimm memory for my laptop. I would like to spend no more than $30 shipped to Texas. I am replacing a 256mb pc2100 sodimm stick so a trade and cash is available if you are just looking to downgrade.

i have 512MB PC2700 id do for 40$ shipped (its HP brand) just pulled it out of my 6805 laptop lmk also take paypal , heat under CrAzYsPyDeR
 
My only concern is that I can't find anywhere that claims that my compaq 2598us can take a 512mb stick of pc2700. I have found it advertised that it can take 256mb of pc2700 but then when it talks of 512mb sticks it always reverts back to pc2100.

If you have any further insight please let me know. Thanks.
