WTB: 4-Port Sata Raid Card. PCI-X

I'm looking for a 4-Port Sata Raid Card PCI-X.

I need this to be ESX Compatiable, feel free to shoot me offers just be sure to include the part number so i can look it up in the HCL.

Not looking to spend a lot, BBU is a plus, but is not at all necessary.

Just need a simple ESX compatible 4-port Sata Raid card. Thanks!

you will not find a SATA card on the HQL, VMware does not in any way support SATA for VMFS, You need to look through the ESX forums to find what folks have had success with, I have a Dell branded Adaptec 21610 that I bought for 70 bucks on ebay about 2 years ago, it's pci-x and works great. Also, unless you find something with write caching stay away from raid 5, I have 2 raid 1 arrays and one raid 0 array (test stuff that I can stand to loose)

I have a 3ware 95004-S 4 port SATA RAID controller that is PCI-X and has 128MB cache. It does RAID 0,1,5,10,50. It is in great shape and guaranteed against DOA. $45 shipped.
