Hi guys

I've got an old Pentium 4 box I'm using to run a slave monitor and a few other tasks.

It currently has 512MB but that's pretty slow for win7.

I'd like to upgrade it to 2GB (I know it will do 2GB) without getting too expensive.

It currently has PC2100 in it. The board does need 'low-density' i.e. 64Mx8 chips (not 128x4)

Any speed DDR > pc2100 is fine as long as it's 2GB and it is in the low-density configuration. It's hard to find much info on this.

Thanks!

I have some supertalent, let me test it and I'll get with you tommorrow.

Bump

Didn't hear back from anyone yet

If you have some old DDR and have the part number, I can normally google it and find out it is low density (8x64) or not.

frahuang - They were 128Mx4 setup. Thanks for the PM though!

Smoove - googling that stick, it's a 64Mx8 - would do the trick - but newegg is sold out. :(

grrr, that sucks. I'd keep an eye out though in case they come back in stock... it's a decent deal
