SSD please. Bigger than 16gb less than 60gb

Wow, I just was about to write they don't make PATA SSDs, but in fact they do! You learn something new everyday I guess. Good luck with that
 
I use an 80GB Intel mSATA SSD in an IDE adapter in my old Dell D610 running XP. The Intel SSD Toolbox works fine and allows me to TRIM the drive when desired. mSATA to IDE adapters are available on eBay and from Addonics and SinTech websites.

It's much faster than any hard drive, uses less power, is totally quiet, and much less heat. And, of course, you can use whatever size msata drive you want.
 
Thank you but this will be replacing a drive in my car radio so unfortunately I don't think i have the room to be adding a adapter.
 
The adapters are the same size as a 2.5" drive. I use them in the standard drive caddies in my old laptop.
