ive a k8neo fsr, A64 3000+ and a stick of Kingston hyperx3700, spd in cpu-z says its max speed is ddr400 and several other programs say the same is it normal?
its 3700 but only 3200 is detected?
can someone please enlighten me?
thanks in advance

can you run at 3700 speed?

i heard of 3200, 3500, 4000... but haven't heard of 3700... can you shed a light on what is the DDR speed?

PC3700 runs at DDR466, the programs might be reading the memory at the speed its currently running at, try running at 233 fsb and then check, just a thought

My hyper-x's SPD timing table reads ddr400 when I'm at 200fsb or 250fsb. I guess it's normal for hyper-x.

thanks everyone for answering, it runs great but it was bugging me. if we buy a 3700 or 4000(466/500) it should appear as it really is, not some standard.
Thanks again guys.
